ALUSTEP® 500 LIGHT

ALUSTEP® 500 LIGHT, core in aluminium honeycomb and skins in high tenacity fibreglass to reduce the weight of marble and natural stone

STEP series panels are applied in the stone sector to lighten marble and natural stones, as a reinforcement and support structure for mosaics or in the restoration sector. Due to their lightness, these panels can be used in buildings interiors as a marble support for floors and worktops. In addition, they are used in boat and mega yachts interiors where lightness combined with high mechanical properties becomes a key point in this sector .

Technical features

ALUSTEP® 500 LIGHT is a sandwich panel with an aluminium honeycomb core and fibreglass skins impregnated with epoxy resin. It is characterized by high bending resistance and good resistance to medium temperatures. The panels of the -STEP are purchased by art galleries as a support for their works. In particular, Disney has created some of its splendid mosaics using CEL Components panels.
